We will talk the logistics AND experience/play many of the activities that are used in our classes. You will leave with ideas and motivation to begin the steps to creating a PE class where student mentors/champions and students with disabilities work together to make PE a place where everyone belongs.

Yoga and MIndful Movement to Start Your Day!

Come join a yoga/mindful movement class to wake up the body and prepare the brain for learning. The instructor will lead participants through asanas (physical postures) to challenge the mind and body to remain in the present moment. Some sequences, mindful movement exercises and partner/group poses could be taken back to your classroom. Come be reminded of how exercising the body and mind together can result in a calmer and more enjoyable day.
