Retired (not really) after teaching 33 years in the public schools, 22 years PE/Dance & Health at Kirkwood High School, 11 years, PE/Dance/Art at Riverview Gardens High School & Central Junior High, 1 year Art at Hoech Junior High-Ritenour School District. During my career, I coached basketball, track, field hockey; sponsored cheerleaders, drill teams, KHS swing dance club, NHS, Youth Leadership Organizations, & the "R" Letterman's Club.
While at KHS & Riverview, I held leadership positions as Department Chair for Art & Physical Education/Health and was Summer School Principal Intern. In 2013, I became an Adjunct Professor (College of Education/PE & Health) at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
In 2013, I began as a teaching artist in Education for COCA (Center of Creative Arts) in St. Louis (2013-2020).
I am a Bridgeton, MO resident. The last 14 years I have been a Zumba, Dance and Fitness Instructor at the Bridgeton Recreation Center. I have worked part-time at the Bridgeton Recreation Center in some capacity since 1977 when I was a camp Counselor.
From 2018 until 2020, I was a part-time Dance/PE instructor at McKinley Classical Leadership Academy. My passion is physical activity & the fine arts.
April of 2024, I was certified as a MIXXED-Fit instructor.
